MERCODOR GmbH Sondermaschinenbau KG in Frankfurt am Main was founded in 1973. The family-owned company has always made shredders and manufactures them individually from start to finish in its own factory in Trebur according to customer specifications.
The company's shredding systems are now successfully employed, for instance, in industrial and commercial establishments, hotels, hospitals, commercial kitchens, on cruise ships as well as in household waste disposal and raw material recycling in order to significantly reduce the volume of waste. With customer-specific machines tailored to the particular waste problems, the waste volume can be reduced by up to about 80 per cent. As a result, the following transport, storage and disposal costs calculated by volume are significantly reduced.
Today, the company's long experience in the most diverse areas of application is our guarantee of trouble-free use. The equipment is characterized by its particularly robust construction, virtually maintenance-free operation and high efficiency combined with low energy consumption. The modular design principle means it can always be adapted perfectly to difficult local conditions, for example, or for combining with existing conveyor systems in manufacturing plants. Depending on the function, different feed and discharge devices, such as conveyor belts, lifting and tipping devices, suction devices, discharge chutes, etc. are provided to suit. This high degree of flexibility always allows powerful MERCODOR shredders to be installed, saving time and costs, directly where the waste is created.
